Brenda Henning is a qualified licensed professional counselor who helps individuals and families recover from emotional, mental and spiritual trauma as a result of grief and loss, addiction, chronic illness and pain or other profound life altering events such as abuse, divorce, empty nest syndrome, caregiving, job loss or toxic conflict.
Her therapy work has been conducted in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, depression and bipolar support groups and private practice. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of the Southwest in New Mexico with a Master's of Science in mental health counseling. Mrs. Henning specializes in non-pharmaceutical recovery methods, such as hypnotherapy and other mind-body skills approaches, such as guided imagery, breath work, narrative journaling, and meditation. Mrs. Henning has completed extensive training in facilitating healthy communication to resolve conflict within families and organizations.
