A recent survey conducted by the American Psychological Association (APA) indicates 3/4 of employees cite their jobs to be the largest source of stress in their lives. Stress costs U.S. businesses roughly $300 billion a year because of absenteeism, reduced productivity levels, and employee turnover, the APA says. Companies are also paying higher medical and insurance fees. For example, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health reports that job stress prompts longer periods of employee disability than other types of work-related injuries or illnesses do.
Perhaps you are in a relationship which doesn't require long-term therapy. Maybe you have an issue or two which needs resolving but it can't seem to occur because of the dynamics between you and the other person. If this is your situation, then The Being Place can facilitate a dialogue to empower you and the other individual to reach a mutual agreement. Review our Mediation Services pages for more information.
